Woman arrested for ‘pimping friends’ in Manila

/ 10:14 PM November 29, 2015

MANILA, Philippines — A woman was arrested and charged after her five female companions allegedly ditched her and accused her of human trafficking in Manila last week.

The trafficking case against Roxanne Dichoso was filed at the city prosecutor office. But Dichoso denied pimping her “friends” to undercover cops, led by Senior Police Officer 2 James Poso of MPD general assignment section, who posed clients during the entrapment operation on November 25.

The case stemmed from an information that Dichoso was involved in prostitution by providing sex workers to foreign or local clients.

None of her “victims” was a minor. Dicohoso added that they were her friends and would usually go out to work with her.  SFM
