BINALONAN, Pangasinan— Starting next month, an airline company will operate nonstop flights from this town to Basco, Batanes, and Palanan, Isabela.

Mayor Ramon Guico III, president of the WCC Aviation Co., said his company would bring Sky Pasada flights to Batanes and Isabela twice a week during lean months and thrice a week during the summer months.

The airline will use 19-seat planes for the service that would also bring supplies to Batanes and cater mainly to residents of the country’s northernmost province.

The airline currently flies to Batanes but flights stop in Tuguegarao City in Cagayan before proceeding to the Basco airport.

Guico said Sky Pasada has been servicing the Binalonan-Tuguegarao-Basco route since 2008. It will be the first time it will fly nonstop to Batanes.

A round-trip fare will cost between P12,000 and P14,000. Passengers going to the coastal town of Palanan in Isabela will be charged P8,000 round trip.
