A grand celebration through simultaneous prayer, praise and worship in 82 provinces all over the Philippines, plus a global outreach to over three million overseas Filipino workers and expatriates, is set on Nov. 30 at Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park.
The event is aimed at creating transformational change in people through the power of worship for healing, peace and unity.
Taking root in Cebu City in 2012, the success of the “Jesus Reigns!” movement was repeated in 2013 with events hosted by Manila, Cebu and General Santos City.
This year’s national and global event kicks off on Monday at 1 p.m. with a motorcade and parade of colorful floats symbolizing “Unity in the Body of Christ,” coming from different points in Metro Manila and converging at Quirino Grandstand.
This will be followed by prayers for the Philippines and Filipinos worldwide, then capped by a grand fireworks display.
Guests representing interdenominational Christian churches as well as the business, political, arts and entertainment sectors are expected to attend the celebration. For more details, visit www.jesusreigns.ph.
