3 hurt in 3-vehicle collision in Albay
LEGAZPI CITY—Three persons were seriously injured when a wayward truck rammed into a sports utility vehicle and another truck along the village of Busay in the town of Daraga, Albay, this afternoon.
Initial police investigation disclosed that the privately owned truck, loaded with sand and gravel, lost its brakes and collided with a Mitsubishi Montero Sport (WBQ 949) before hitting a ten-wheeler truck shortly before 3 p.m., according to SPO1 Arnulfo Buena of the Daraga police.
The victims—the driver of the wayward truck and two from the SUV—were all rushed to the Bicol Training and Teaching Hospital, a government-run regional hospital, also in Daraga, he said.
Police have yet to identify the victims.
