A still unidentified security guard shot himself dead after going on a shooting rampage in a store on Rizal Avenue in Manila on Thursday afternoon.
The security guard of Chain Glass Enterprise went on a shooting spree 20 minutes after policemen from the Manila Police District interrogated him over a robbery incident in the said company.
At least one victim died while two persons are wounded in the incident, according to the MPD.
The guard was tagged by the police as a suspect in the robbery which involved the loss of P1 million.
The shooting incident brought heavy traffic to the area and forced the closure of nearby Pampanga and Laguna Streets.
The wife of the security guard went to the scene to talk her husband out of the situation.
