THE mother of Jason Ivler has spoken on the conviction of his son for the murder six years ago of Renato Ebarle Jr., son of a former Palace official.
In a post on her Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, Marlene Aguilar, who now calls herself “She Dragon 696,” said she believes that “truth and justice will prevail” for Ivler.
She said Ivler would be freed, even citing the case of Hubert Webb who was later acquitted by the Supreme Court.
“The lawyers will appeal it. Son of Freddie Webb went to jail for 15 years and he was proclaimed NOT GUILTY later.”
“I remain very confident that sooner than later, truth and justice will prevail,” she said.
Aguilar claimed that her son’s conviction was supposedly a punishment from the Central Intelligence Agency for her “disobedience.”
“As far as I am concerned, this is the CIA’s way of punishing me for my disobedience. It’s very complicated. This is part of the ‘game within games within games,’” she added.
She will not give any media interview because the world won’t understand the answers she would give to public.
“I refuse to give any media interview. Why? It is because the answers I will give to their questions, the public would never understand. So what is the point?” she said.
On Tuesday, Quezon City Regional Trial Court ruled that Ivler is guilty of killing of Renato Ebarle Jr., son of former Palace official Renato Sr., in a road rage incident in 2009.
He was sentenced to reclusion perpetua and was ordered to pay a fine of P9 million. AJH
