1 hurt in van blast in Davao
DAVAO CITY – One person was injured when a suspected improvised explosive device went off inside a passenger van near the Overland Transport Terminal in Ecoland, Matina here around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Chief Insp. Milgrace Driz, city police spokesperson, said the van had come from Pikit, North Cotabato and had unloaded passengers when the explosion took place.
The lone injured victim was the van’s driver, whose identity was not released yet. CDG
