Tolentino to public: Be vigilant, pray for Paris
Independent senatorial candidate Francis Tolentino condemned in strongest term the dastardly attack in Paris that left more than 120 people dead.
“Sagrado ang buhay ng tao at kinokondena po natin ang lahat ng paglapastangan dito,” said Tolentino.
At the same time, Tolentino said that he is praying for those who perished in the series of terrorist attacks in France as well as condole with the family of the victims.
“Nananalangin po tayo para sa mga biktima ng madugong karahasan ngayon sa Paris, France,” he stated.
Latest reports said that the Isis claimed responsibility for the horrific attacks that killed 129 people. The attack was considered the worst violence in France since World War II.
A public safety advocate, Tolentino helped in the successful staging of Pope Francis in Manila and World Economic Forum, among others.

In almost simultaneous attacks on Friday night in French capital, the assailants targeted six sites with the deadliest being a massacre at a concert hall where at least 80 persons were killed. Authorities also said 352 were injured.
As a former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman, Tolentino exhorted the public to be on alert in situations that needs emergency response especially now that the country will host the Asia Pacific Economic Conference (Apec) Summit which will be attended by more than 20 heads of states.
During his stint as MMDA chair, Tolentino was able to elicit cooperation and commitment of all of Metro Manila’s 17 local government units in disaster preparedness.
