A MAN was gunned down by a still unknown assailant in Quezon City on Saturday night, allegedly over drugs.
Case investigator PO2 Julius Raz of the Quezon City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said that Nicole Quizora died on the spot after he was shot no less than 10 times by his attacker on Manga Street in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa around 9:30 p.m.
Raz said that a concerned citizen reported the killing of the 45-year-old victim to barangay councilor Renie Sumacot, who found Quizora’s body.
The police officer added that no one in the area has come forward to tell investigators what they know about the killing which they suspected has something to drugs.
Raz, however, said that they were still trying to determine if the victim was part of a drug gang operating in the barangay. Jovic Yee
