MANILA, Philippines — The city of Manila will implement several road closures and traffic rerouting this Wednesday (Nov. 18)  and Thursday (Nov. 19) to ensure the safety of the APEC delegates’ spouses, who would tour around the city on Thursday.

“We can say that this is one of the most historic events to be held in the country and in our city. We should make sure that everyone will be safe,” said Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada in a statement.

The tour, dubbed as “walk through time,” would take the spouses to Intramuros in Manila. President Benigno Aquino’s four sisters would be their hosts.

The following are the roads that would be affected by the closures starting 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18.
