Case vs 72-year-old ‘tanim-bala’ suspect dismissed

The Pasay City Prosecutors’ Office has dismissed the criminal case against 72-year-old Antonina Rosaga Agustin who is arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 for carrying bullets.

In its resolution, the prosecutors’ office said there was no intent to possess on the part of Agustin.

The Public Attorney’s Office has provided assistance to Agustin.

Agustin was arrested on Monday while she was supposed to fetch relatives from the airport.

The two bullets detected inside her pouch during the screening were discovered to be of cal. 9 and 38 mm.

She is the 13th victim of the so-called “tanim-bala” racket at the airport released by the prosecutors’ office.
