Iraqi officials: Baghdad blasts kill at least 6 and wound 18
BAGHDAD — Iraqi security officials say three blasts in different parts of Baghdad have killed at least six people and wounded 18.
One roadside bomb targeted a residential area in north Baghdad’s Saba al-Boor neighborhood on Friday, killing three and wounding nine.
In south Baghdad, police say an improvised explosive device killed two and wounded five in a meat market in Maidan.
In the Tarmiya neighborhood of north Baghdad, one soldier was killed and four were wounded when a homemade bomb detonated next to an Iraqi military vehicle.
Hospital officials confirmed all the casualties.
