A video of a girl reporting an incident at a local police station in Laguna while the officer on duty was busy using his cellphone is making the rounds on social media.

The caption of the video, which was originally uploaded by Facebook page “Ikuwento Mo Kay Delio,” said the 17-year-old girl went to a police station at Balibago Complex after being victimized by the “kuyog-bintang nakaw” modus.

Pinagbintangan umano siyang magnanakaw,” the caption read.

Netizens took notice that all throughout the four-minute video, the police officer on desk was busy using cellphone and seemed not to be paying full attention to the complainant.

“Wow, klaro na tinatamad si mamang pulis. Nakakahiya ka. Dapat dito tanggalin sa serbisyo,” said Facebook user Cabelto Batula.

As of writing, the video has been viewed more than 279,000 times. It was also shared by another popular Facebook page “Bassilyo,” where it has garnered more than 400,000 views.

The Philippine National Police is yet to make a comment. YG
