Cops kill 3 suspected Bolt Cutter Gang members

MANILA, Philippines – Three armed men, suspected to be members of the “Bolt Cutter Gang”, were killed in a shootout with police in Batangas early Monday morning, a 990AM report said.

Police pursued and killed the suspects who shot at patrolling authorities at San Roque village in Sto. Tomas, Batangas at around 5 a.m., said Superintendent Nicolas Torre III, deputy provincial director for operations of the Batangas police.

He said that lawmen were about to check on two men who were lurking near a computer shop when a third suspect, on board an owner type jeep, drove by and shot at the police.
