Fire guts commercial building in Sipocot, CamSur
NAGA CITY—A fire that broke out at 2 a.m. Saturday gutted a commercial building in Sipocot, Camarines Sur, according to the town police.
Chief Inspector Jerome Regachuelo, acting police chief of Sipocot, said the fire razed the Bichara Building along Maharlika Highway, Barangay South Centro occupied by Novo Jeans Department Store, Troy’s Diner and a cellphone accessories store.
No one was reported injured in the fire, he said.
Regachuelo said the fire was placed under control at 2:46 a.m. and declared fire out at 6 a.m.
He said the fire department has yet to determine the cause of the fire and the estimated damage. CDG
