THE MAKATI Public Safety Department is now open up to 10 p.m. on weekdays to attend to complaints against its traffic personnel or process reports of vehicular accidents.

As ordered by Acting Mayor Romulo Pena, the MPSD added another shift to its current 8 a.m.-5 p.m. schedule. The new shift is 2-10 p.m. and has been in effect since Sept. 21, said public information officer Gilbert de los Reyes.

“With the additional shift, people no longer have to wait for the following day to be assisted or until Monday for the resolution of their traffic-related concerns,” Peña said on Tuesday. The MPSD office is at the Makati Central Fire Station on Malugay corner Ayala Avenue Extension, with telephone nos. 8193270 to 71.
