Magnitude 4 quake rattles Davao Occidental
A magnitude 4.0 earthquake jolted Davao Occidental Wednesday morning, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred 56 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos town at 7:58 a.m.

Phivolcs said the quake had a dept of 33 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
The agency said no damage or aftershocks were expected.
