SEN. GRACE Poe should be wary of those with a history of turning their backs on their allies, according to Sen. JV Ejercito, who has pledged to support Poe’s presidential candidacy.

Ejercito said Poe should be cautious of the support being offered by the Zamoras of San Juan who, he said, had backed an opponent of Poe’s adoptive father, Fernando Poe, Jr., when he ran for president in 2004.

For all that the Zamoras are saying that they are related to Poe’s husband, Neil Llamanzares, they supported Panfilo Lacson’s candidacy in 2004.

“The camp of Sen. Poe should be careful of them. They have a history of betraying people,” Ejercito said in a text message.

The Ejercitos’ support for the Poes has never wavered, said Ejercito, an illegitimate son of deposed President and convicted plunderer Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, whose real name is Ejercito.

“We have been consistent in supporting FPJ and Sen. Grace Poe,” the congressman said.
