FISH Conservation Week is commemorated every third week of October by virtue of Proclamation No. 176 signed on Oct. 21, 1963, by then President Diosdado Macapagal. This year, the 52nd Fish Conservation Week will be observed from Oct. 19 to 23 with the theme “Pinatatag na Batas Pangisdaan, Hakbang sa Pagkamit ng mas Masaganang Karagatan.” Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
