In the 25-second video clip he posted on Thursday (Oct. 15), the Indonesian maid who was sitting on the floor was seen kicking the girl who then fell to the ground. The video has been shared on Facebook more than 850 times.

The father, Christopher Sun, 28, wrote: “That impact is totally undescribable from me. I was totally heart broken when I saw my maid doing that to my daughter. Personally I won’t even lay a hand on my princess, until someone else actually did it. It just broke my heart too much.”

According to evening newspaper Lianhe Wanbao, the maid also hit Sun’s seven-month-old son. Sun told Lianhe Wanbao that he installed a surveillance camera in his Woodlands flat on Oct. 13 as he was suspicious of the maid, who had worked for him for five months, after discovering bruises on his daughter’s arms.

Sun has filed a police report on the matter.
