Negros Occ’s vice gov seeks reelection, asks bets to play fair

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental—Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson on Wednesday filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC) for a reelection at the Commission on Election provincial office in Bacolod City.

He is running under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).

“I call on all fellow candidates to commit to clean, honest and peaceful campaigns and elections. Our people deserve our highest best and we owe them nothing less,” he said.

With Lacson at the Comelec office were the candidates for board members.

They were Rommel Tan Debulgado and  Antonio Tan Encarguez (1st district), Manuel Frederick Ko (3rd district), Angelito Colmenares (5th district), and Pedro Zayco Jr. and Helen Zafra (6th district).

Of the six, only Zafra and Zayco are incumbents. SFM
