Joker’s widow arrives from US
FELICITAS Aquino-Arroyo, the widow of Sen. Joker Arroyo, arrived early on Saturday at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) without any fanfare.
No statement was issued on the death of her husband, who died on Oct. 5 at the age of 88 from what was reported to be an unsuccessful heart operation in California.
The grieving wife of the late senator arrived a little past 5 a.m. at Naia Terminal 2 on Philippine Airlines (PAL) Flight PR 105. She left San Francisco International Airport at 11:54 p.m. on Oct. 8.
According to records of the Manila International Airport Authority, the senator’s widow requested assistance from the public affairs division for her arrival.
Arroyo’s family has requested that the death of the senator be kept a private affair. Jeannette I. Andrade
