‘Turbulent’ landing for pilot

A COMMERCIAL pilot of Air Asia Zest was arrested upon landing his aircraft at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Thursday morning.

Members of the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group arrested Mark Takeshi Hill, a US citizen, on a warrant issued by Judge Tingaraan Guiling of Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 109, where he is charged with violation of the Violence Against Women and Children’s Act.

The case against Hill was filed by his ex-wife who claimed to have suffered physical, mental and financial abuse.
