Pagasa: Cloudy skies, rains over parts of Visayas, Mindanao

VISAYAS and Mindanao will have cloudy skies and light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.
A trough of a low pressure area is extending across Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its afternoon bulletin.

The provinces of Palawan and Romblon will also have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms, Pagasa said.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast and southwest will prevail over the eastern section of the country and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast and southwest with slight to moderate seas.
