Budget airline Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) on Friday apologized to its passengers for continued delayed flights amid an ongoing operation systems upgrade which started on Thursday, Oct. 1.
In a statement, CEB said “issues in the course of the upgrade” had been preventing it from dispatching flights on time.
CEB said they were already arranging the reaccommodation of affected passengers “on the soonest available flights.”
“We are working on normalizing our operations as soon as possible. For today, however, we expect consequential flight delays and cancellations, and perhaps even tomorrow. We will issue updates to keep the public and our passengers informed as they become available,” CEB said.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will provide for the requirements of the affected passengers, including meals, refreshment, and accommodation on other airlines,” it added.
CEB said passengers traveling from Oct. 1 to 8 may refund or rebook their flights within 30 days without fees, or may contact the CEB call center at +6327020888 for their reaccommodation. Yuji Vincent Gonzales/RC
