Six hours after the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) had announced that it had lifted the number coding scheme in most parts of the Metro due to heavy rains and possible floods spawned by tropical storm “Kabayan,” Makati has also cancelled number coding in the city.
Makati Traffic made the announcement on its social media pages on Friday afternoon.

Thus, the number coding is already lifted in entire Metro Manila.

This means that cars with plate numbers ending in 9-0 could traverse in any roads in the metropolis.
The MMDA has also suspended operations of the Pasig River Ferry.
As of 11 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Kabayan has left Luzon landmass and will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by midnight.

The storm packed maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 80 kph.
The storm made landfall over Baler-San Luis in Aurora early Friday and is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility on Saturday.
Storm signal No. 2 was raised in La Union and Pangasinan, while Signal No. 1 remained hoisted over Benguet, Tarlac, Ilocos Sur and Zambales. With a report from Nestor Corrales/IDL
