Immigration commissioner Siegfred Mison offered a monetary incentive for anyone who will be able to provide information on the whereabouts of Cho Seongdae, a ward who escaped from the Bureau of Immigration’s (BI) Warden Facility in Bicutan on Tuesday morning.
The Immigration Chief also formed a committee to investigate on the incident and identify those responsible for the escape.
“We are exploring every possible option to locate Cho at the soonest possible time, Immigration spokesperson Elaine Tan said.
Tan said the BI has also tapped the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to help in the search.
Tan said any concerned individual may send information through a text message using the following syntax: “CHO SEONGDAE <location> <name of informant>” to any of the following numbers: (0908) 894-6644, (0932) 894-6644 and (0917) 573-3871. CDG
