A fire hit an abandoned house in Marikina City early Saturday.
FO2 Amalia Bartolome said the blaze that hit the house on Sable Street, Barangay Concepcion Dos, was reported to the fire station at 3:45 a.m.
The house is reportedly made of concrete and owned by Colonel Gerardo and Soledad Diza who are now based abroad.
The fire reached the second alarm and was put out at 4:20 a.m.
Bartolome said no one was reported injured.
She said the cause of fire and estimated damage to property had yet to be determined. Kristine Felisse Mangunay/RC
