3 injured in Valenzuela warehouse fire
A WAREHOUSE fire left three people injured in Valenzuela City on Friday.
City Fire Marshall Supt. Jonas Silbano said flames engulfed the warehouse of Loyal Family Industrial Corp., a company owned by brothers Jacob and Mark Go on C. Molina Street, Viente Reales.
The blaze also spread to a neighboring structure belonging to LGC Industrial Sales.
The fire started around 10 a.m. and was declared under control at 2:50 p.m. after reaching the fifth alarm.
Silbano said workers Melchor Villacis, Mark Ian Lacala and Roldan Garcia sustained injuries in the fire and were brought to the hospital for treatment.
Firefighters encountered some difficulty battling the flames as the warehouse stored highly flammable chemicals and plastics, he said.
