Senator Grace Poe thanked the people anew for “unwavering trust and support” for topping another presidential survey, this time conducted by the Pulse Asia.

“My sincerest gratitude to the people for their unwavering trust and support. I am honored and humbled by the results of the latest Pulse Asia survey,” Poe said in a statement on Friday.

“Surveys help us check if we’re on the right track, but we derive our inspiration from the needs and aspirations of our countrymen, with or without surveys,” she added.

Poe remained the voters’ top choice for president despite a 3-percentage-point-drop in her rating based on the latest Pulse Asia survey for ABS-CBN conducted from August 27 to September 3.

From 30 percent in June, Poe’s rating went down to 27 percent in August. Vice President Jejomar Binay came in second with 21 percent, followed by Liberal Party standard-bearer Manuel “Mar” Roxas II with 18 percent.
