1 hurt as fire razes nurses’ quarters at AFP Medical Center
(UPDATE) Fire of unknown origin hit the nurses’ quarters at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center (AFPMC), also known as V. Luna Medical Center on Wednesday night.
AFP spokesperson Col. Restituto Padilla said that the fire “totally destroyed” the quarters.
One unidentified person was slightly injured after jumping from the second floor, Padilla added.

There were 81 officer nurses affected by the fire. All are safe and accounted for.

The fire started at about 7 p.m. and was put out at 7:55 p.m.
“It has yet to be determined what caused the fire was,” Padilla said.
