2 dead in gun attack in Pangasinan
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—Two men were killed while two women were wounded when a group of armed men fired at their tricycle in San Jacinto, Pangasinan, on Friday, police said on Saturday.
Senior Insp. Amor Mio Somine, officer in charge of the San Jacinto police, said tricycle driver Jose Rocero died instantly when the armed men, aboard a sport utility vehicle, fired as they overtook his tricycle in Barangay Sta. Maria at 4:45 p.m.
Bernardo Moyargas, one of the tricycle’s passengers, died while being taken to the Manaoag Community Hospital in Manaoag town.
Two other tricycle passengers, Maria Lourdes Rodolfa and Dory Quiros, were wounded and taken to MCH, police said. Johanne Margarette Macob/RC
