Belmonte condoles with late solon’s kin
Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. yesterday extended his and the House of Representative’s condolences to the family of Camarines Norte Rep. Elmer Panotes who died of pneumonia on Wednesday at the age of 75.
“May Eming rest in eternal peace as we offer him our gratitude for the many years of dedicated service he shared with our country and people,” Belmonte said in a statement.
Panotes was on his second term in the House of Representatives. He served as mayor of Daet from 1992 to 2001, and again from 2004 to 2007.
He also served as the vice governor of Camarines Norte in 1986 and was governor and president of the provincial chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
