414 out of 771 pass Sept. 2015 chemistry board exam
A total of 414 out of 771 passed the recent chemist licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday.
Data from PRC showed that the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman emerged as the lone top-performing school after recording a 95.65-percent passing rate, equivalent to 66 passers out of 69 takers.
The PRC requires 50 or more examinees and with at least 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.
Abdul-Rashid Sampaco III of the UP-Manila topped the exam with a 92.25-percent passing rate.
The exam was administered by the Board of Chemistry in Manila this September.
