Is she feeling the pressure to become the administration coalition’s vice presidential bet?
Camarines Sur 3rd district Representative Leonor “Leni” Robredo posted a photo of her husband, late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo on her Facebook page on Thursday, accompanied by a cryptic message.
“Can I use a lifeline just for today?” Robredo said.

The photo was posted Thursday morning when Senators Grace Poe and Francis “Chiz” Escudero formally announced their tandem for the 2016 elections as president and vice president, respectively.
Poe is the only presidential candidate so far who has declared a running mate for next year’s polls as administration bet Manuel “Mar” Roxas and United Nationalist Alliance presidential candidate Vice President Jejomar Binay are still left without partners.
Robredo is being floated as a possible running mate for Roxas, along with Batangas governor Vilma Santos-Recto and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano.
However, Robredo said in earlier interviews that she is more keen on running for senator rather than seeking the vice presidency.
The lawmaker said that she will only consider running for vice president if she is “indispensable” and if no one is up for the post. AJH/RAM
