Supporters of Senators Grace Poe and Francis “Chiz” Escudero started to gather at the Club Filipino in Greenhills, San Juan on Thursday for the expected announcement of their team-up for 2016.

Expected to attend the event scheduled to start at 10 a.m. are Escudero’s wife, actress Evangalista, and the senator’s mother, incumbent Sorsogon Representative Evelina Escudero.

While the two have yet to formally announce their team-up for 2016, a huge banner on stage that reads “Grace-Chiz, 2016,” and posters on the wall that reads “Chiz for VP,” clearly tells it all.

Notably, the words “Partido ng Pilipinas” was being flashed on a big screen beside the stage. There were also stickers bearing the name of the said party.

Former An Waray Partylist Representative Florencio “Bem” Noel, who resigned as director of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office to help support the campaign of two senators, said the “Partido ng Pilipinas” would likely become a coalition that is being organized to support the team-up.
