Escudero, too, will make an announcement Thursday at Club Filipino

SENATOR Francis “Chiz” Escudero will also make an announcement at the historic Club Filipino in San Juan on Thursday, just a day after Senator Grace Poe’s expected declaration of her presidential bid, a media advisory from Escudero’s office said on Tuesday.

Escudero’s announcement was scheduled for 10 a.m.

“Senator Chiz Escudero will make an announcement on September 17, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at the Kalayaan Hall of Club Filipino,” the short statement reads.

Poe’s office also advised the media this Tuesday morning that she would make an “important announcement in connection with her plans for the 2016 national elections” at 6 p.m. on Wednesday to be held at the Bahay ng Alumni at the University of the Philippines, Diliman Quezon City,

Both Poe and Escudero have been mum about their plans in 2016 though they emerged as the voters’ top choice for president, and vice president, respectively based on the latest surveys.
