Mild quake hits Surigao del Sur
MANILA, Philippines – A 4.2 magnitude earthquake shook Surigao del Sur Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
The inland quake struck seven kilometers southwest of Lianga, Surigao del Sur at 7:47 a.m.

It hit at a shallow depth of three kilometers and was felt at intensity 3 in Lianga and intensity 2 in Bislig City also in Surigao del Sur.
No aftershocks were expected, Phivolcs said.
