Former NHA chief is new housing czar
Former National Housing Authority (NHA) General Manager Chito Cruz is the new chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), the post vacated by Vice President Jejomar Binay when he resigned from the Aquino Cabinet in June.
Cruz confirmed the news to Radyo Inquirer 990AM on Wednesday.
The new housing czar said he took oath last August 20.
Aside from NHA, housing agencies under the HUDCC are the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-ibig Fund), Home Guaranty Corporation, Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board, National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation, and Social Housing Finance Corporation. Yuji Vincent Gonzales
