Asenjo faces Tadena in Cobra-ALA boxing

FORMER WBO Oriental minimum weight champion Rommel “Little Assasin” Asenjo of the Braveheart Stable of North Cotabato faces Arnel Tadena in the main bout of the Cobra-ALA Tunay na Lakas fight card at the 888 Chinatown Square tomorrow in Bacolod City.

Asenjo who is sporting a 20-3 (win-loss) record with 16 knockouts will fight off a battle-scarred Tadena, who has an 11-8-3, (win-loss-draw) record with 8 KOs.

Tadena tries to recover from his loss to Raul Garcia during his campaign to clinch the WBO world minimumweight belt in Mexico last April.

Mark Gil Melligen (14-4-1, 6KOs) he faces Rufino Mante (6-11-1, 2KOs) in the undercard.

Meanwhile, Rocky Bacor will duke it out against Jonathan Ricablanca while Wilbeth Loberanis faces Roger Echavez in the undercard.

Another boxer from the Melligen siblings, John Rey, will fight Toto Abing while Lordell Radoz will face Jack Lord Cepeda.
