Alay Lakad marks 43rd anniversary

Alay Lakad Foundation, walk for a cause for the out-of-school youth organization of the country, marks its 43rd anniversary on Sunday.

Conceptualized in 1972 by the Secretary of Social Welfare and Development Dr. Estefania Aldaba Lim, the walking-for-a-cause will raise funds for the benefit of thousands of young girls and boys who were marginalized and out of school.

Alay Lakad, which became a foundation in 1975, has 32 government and nongovernment member-agencies.
