The four-day rally of Iglesia ni Cristo members was generally peaceful, Chief Superintendent Joel Pagdilao, PNP-NCRPO Director said Monday.

“We are very happy na ito ay isang peaceful activity bagamat apektado ang traffic,” Pagdilao said in an interview.

Pagdilao said aside from the coordination with the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), police and the Local Government Units, INC leadership had been very cooperative.

“Sinasabi nga namin na safety and security, not only of the INC members but of the general public is our concern,” Pagdilao, head of Task Force Metro Manila Shield said.

PNP Information head, Chief Supt. Wilben Mayor said the crowd peaked between 1 to 2 a.m. at around 20,000 then went down to around 12,000 by 8 a.m.
