LINAMON, Lanao del Norte — A notorious drug suspect released on bail was arrested again in this town and yielded P40,000 in suspected shabu.
Willard Pinpin Navarro was arrested with four others in Barangay Samburon early Thursday morning by the police Criminal Intelligence and Detection Group (CIDG).
Senior Inspector Gerson Soliven, CIDG Lanao del Norte chief, said the 5 a.m. raid was backed by a warrant issued against Willard Pinpin Navarro by Iligan City Regional Trial Court Judge Albert Abragan.
Samburon chair Silvestre dela Torre said Navarro — considered the top drug pusher in the village — had repeatedly been warned against continuing his illegal trade, but he was persistent.
Navarro told investigators he had been selling shabu for the past 10 years and was previously been arrested in Pagadian City.
He said he was on bail for the Pagadian City arrest.
