Five flights scheduled Sunday were cancelled due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory posted on its Facebook account.

In its 11 a.m. weather bulletin, state weather agency Pagasa said that typhoon “Ineng” (international name: Goni) has maintained its strength as it pulled away from the country.
Ineng packed maximum sustained winds clocked at 140 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 170 kph.
The typhoon may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Sunday night or Monday morning.
