DZIQ: Fire hits residential area in Manila

MANILA, Philippines—A fire that has reached fifth alarm was razing a residential area in Sta. Cruz, Manila, a report on Radyo Inquirer Thursday said.

The blaze at Felix Huertas street near SM San Lazaro, where explosions have been heard, started at around 10 a.m., the report said.

There was no immediate information on the casualties, the report added.
