Heard on Radyo Inquirer: Valisno Express driver’s daily income
If we work 24 hours straight, our boundary (earnings to be remitted to the company) is P9,500. But the next day someone else will take our slot. It’s exhausting, of course, but because the boundary is that big we have to work harder just to raise that amount and still have something left to take home. We usually end up with P3,000.
—Danilo Hernandez, one of the drivers of Valisno Express bus company whose fleet was grounded after the Aug. 12 crash in Quezon City that killed four passengers.
