The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippine National Police is joining the manhunt for businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman and Dalia Pastor, the primary suspects in the killing of international car racer Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor.
Chief Insp. Elizabeth Jasmin said the PNP-CIDG had designated tracker teams to go after De Guzman and Pastor, who are facing trial for allegedly plotting the Quezon City ambush that killed Pastor on June 12, 2014.
The CIDG has tracker teams in each of its regional offices across the country. Earlier this week, a Quezon City court ordered the arrest of De Guzman and issued a hold departure order against Dalia, Pastor’s widow, who is covered by an earlier warrant.
Jasmin said all PNP units nationwide will be sent copies of the arrest warrants against the two suspects and that the CIDG would also be coordinating with foreign governments in view of unconfirmed reports that Dalia had already fled the country.
