PENSION HOUSE RANSACKED

VALUABLES worth P100,00 were taken when unidentified thieves broke into a  pension house in barangay Ibabao, Mandaue City, yesterday.

Taken from Rock III Pension House in sitio Caimito were three digital cameras, a pair of rubber shoes, a pair of slippers, two external hard drives of a computer, two wrist watches and a traveling bag.

Occupants  Renalou Silvano, 30, and Meilin Silvano, 30, discovered the break-in around 8 a.m.

The burglars entered the pension house by destroying the sliding door at the secox    nd floor of the building.

TAHO VENDOR STABBED

A 43-YEAR-OLD taho vendor was stabbed with a screwriver by  his co-worker in Bulacao, Cebu City, last Tuesday night.

It was not clear what provoked the attack on  Antonio Cerami.

The suspect, a certain Ivan, fled after the incident.

Police said Cerami arrived in his  workplace around 9 p.m. and went to the kitchen to look for food  when he saw Ivan talking to a co-worker.

Cerami asked Ivan what they were talking about, which irked Ivan, who  got hold of a screwdriver and stabbed him. Before escaping, Ivan was heard telling another worker, “Palihug lang ko ug ibot.” (Please take care of pulling out the screwdriver.)
