When asked for reaction on a statement that the Liberal Party-led administration coalition can’t wait forever for her to agree to be the running-mate of its standard-bearer Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, Sen. Grace Poe cannot help but agree.

“Wala naman talagang forever (No such thing as forever),” Poe told reporters in just jest in an ambush interview after a Senate hearing on Thursday.

“Just for the record, just for the record, and I will say this with all the love, because it is true, there is no forever,” Lacierda said, reacting to the statement of LP member and former Rep. Erin Tañada that the coalition could not wait forever for Poe to come aboard.

Poe, who topped recent preference polls for both potential presidential and vice presidential bets in 2016, is yet to announce if she will seek higher office next year. It is believed, however, that she will run with Sen. Francis Escudero as independent.
