3.6-magnitude quake jolts Eastern Samar
A magnitude 3.6 earthquake jolted off Easter Samar on Wednesday night, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake struck 32 kilometers northeast of San Policarpo town at 7:21 p.m.
Phivolcs said the quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 27 kilometers.
The agency said no damage and aftershock were expected. NC/TVJ
